Start being really proactive with your physicality. Not only will it make you healthy, but it will protect you against injuries. Be mindful. Be aware of your surroundings, the things that you do. Together, these things should help you live a long, healthy, happy life.
I forgot to talk to you in the last blog about some exciting news; spinal cord injury hope. The cool thing about what people are doing now is they’re really becoming more proactive about what’s causing these injuries and how to avoid these injuries, but also what really is contained in these injuries. The reason this is important in our world, in what we do, is that the spine and your vertebra, the more you can protect your body being really fit, being really strong, having a really well composed physiology. It does incredible things to protect you against falls, against accidents that happen out of the blue.
Why can one guy fall off a motorcycle at 500 miles an hour, get up and go, I hurt my head, and then some poor guy will trip; crippled forever.
In my last blog I was pissing and moaning about causes. Don’t be a cause. That’s the best cause to have. Don’t be a special interest. Don’t be somebody that needs one of these jumbo things where everybody has a big fundraiser because you can’t afford healthcare. Because none of us can afford healthcare.
Start being really proactive with your physicality. This is nothing. You see these pictures of these folks, who through no fault of their own, boom. Their capabilities of being able to walk are taken away from them.
So be mindful. Be aware of your surroundings, the things that you do. Don’t be freaked out and weird, but just be mindful. Strengthen your body. Strengthen your mind. Don’t ever stop watching RonMorrisBalance.com ever, ever, ever.
