kettlebells – floor attack
Hey, how are you doing?
All right, I’m with my very special crew today. Do you want to pan around and take a look at the crew? Ah, Alex, just out of prison. Art, you’re just out of prison. Mark and what’s your name again?
Ron: Going into prison. All right. That’s enough of those roughnecks.
The next set of blogs you’re going to see all these guys working out with me. Today you’re going to learn how to do floor attacks correctly. So, Mr. Handheld, boom, you’re going to get overhead, grab yourself a couple of kettlebells, light kettlebells. And you’re going to bring them up to your chest, turn them around, press up.
Floor attack, drive with your hip, shift your hip, hip, hip, hip, hip. Now what’s cool about this is you intermingle this with a couple of punches like this… double press, holds, and then back to your floor attack. The whole floor attack is derived from your hip action. Bang, bang, just like Gary or one of these derelicts over here is jumping on you, trying to get your wallet. Bang, you’re fighting them off.
One’s got a cup of coffee. He’s trying to dump it on you. Bang, bang.
And then one of them throws a Joe Bonamassa CD at you and you don’t know what the hell to do. You’ll learn about that later. He sucks. All right.
