kettlebells – the double clean
Hey, boys and girls. No cameraman today. Just yours truly continuing the kettlebell quest. All right. Double clean. Cleaning the kettlebells. That’s a workout unto itself. Back down. You want to have; it’s almost like a swing, only you’re just pulling the weight into your body. Double clean this way. Nice and tight. Very good.
From there, you do a see-saw press. Sink and rotate the waist. Press. Rotate the waist. Press. And down.
Weight doesn’t much matter. You don’t want to get too caught into the idea of big weights, doing a lot of workload. That’s really not the point.
The point is the technique and the agility and the ability of what you’re doing, really getting this core flexible and agile. Also, really getting that snap right in here with the double clean.
Set them behind your heels, you could pull them in tighter. It should go something like this. Take a breath, snap them in, just like that. Nice. From the front, back down, get them set, double clean, bang, just like that. Cool. I wonder what’s coming next, don’t you?
