pullover with kettlebell
What’s an aneurysm feel like? Sweet mother of God. I’m working out with the crew today. Helen Crump, go ahead. Joban Masu and his brother, Ted.
All right, very good.
He’s going to regret that pose on the Internet.
All right, what you’re going to learn today is a pullover. Now listen, this is traditionally been done by bodybuilders. But you’re going to learn how to stretch and strengthen your body in a correct way that will help your snatches, your floor attacks, your renegade rolls, and everything that we’ve been going over. This is actually a very serious move. I take it seriously. Get yourself a nice flat bench, one that’s very sturdy. Get yourself a kettlebell, filled with chocolate. [laughs]
Yeah, that’s right. Then lean back. You’re going to bring this back, carrying it by the horns, where my hands are. You’re going to come over the bench, just like that. Big stretch. Now here’s the Hanzo Ranch variation. When you come up, your knees are going to come up. Hold, and then back. Breathe in and then pull in, just like that, and then back. Then pull in, just like that. Oh, that feels good. Breathe in, big stretch, and then pull in, just like that.
Then tightening up your core, grab it as if it was a watermelon or a big black radish. Or something [laughs] equally disturbing, your choice. Keep your feet down, chest out, and do some presses, just like that. Bang. Pump them baby, just like that, then flip it forward. Hanzo ranch bench pullovers and radish snacks.
For Chick Corea, Tony Williams, and Barney Rubble, we’ll see you next week.
