the solution to most joint injuries
What’s important to remember and what disturbs me most is that people are starting to rely on “parts replacement” to fix their bodies. “Hey, let’s just replace the part.” “Oh, I got this really bad knee, I can’t…Let’s replace the part.” This is no good.
Start being proactive about simple, useful, non‑invasive solutions which are:
-
- lose weight
- get a really good pair of kicks
- go for a walk
- lose weight
- stretch
- lose weight
- quit whining
- and… lose weight.
You get the idea.
Walking and blogging, oh yeah. Got my new shades on, Gary stole them from a bar last night. Thanks Gary. Of course, I’ve got something to crappy about. Weak in the knees, a big article on pro athletes aren’t the only ones battling knee injuries. No, recreational sports also are putting a strain on the body’s most complicated joint. Then, they’ve got this picture of this cat that’s about 100 million pounds overweight. I can’t imagine why his knees are bad.
All right. Let’s review a couple of things real quick. Healthy joints, wrist, elbows, knees, hip bone, ankles. It’s real simple, you stretch every day. You reach, stretch like that. Touch your toes. It’s about lubing the joints, keeping the body moving, lubing the joints. Bend down. Standing up.

Every time I get someone with an injury, shoulder injury, wrist injury, elbow injury. It’s always some dramatic thing and some doctor wants to go in there and just rip and tear. Nine times out of ten with stretching, basic calisthenics, pushups, squats, a walk, finding staircases, cleaning up the diet, we overcome these problems.
On the site, ronmorrisfitness.com, we’re going to start linking to a lot of my success stories, something we haven’t done yet. It’s imperative that you get there, you study these blogs, and you start figuring out a way to build some sort of iconic idol for me, maybe a Dollywood only a Hanzowood. Yes, I like this. We’re on to something. Yes, there’ll be rides and donuts and …
Look, before you start shopping surgeons or brand new knee parts, why don’t you just take a look at your body. I learned this from my brother a long time ago. If the motorcycle didn’t work, a lot of his buddies would start tearing the engine apart. He always checked the battery post. Duh. Guess what? It was usually the battery post.
Lose weight, stretch, exercise, lose weight. The majority of knee problems come from too much on the frame. The frame can only handle so much. Yeah, this is a long, snotty blog, but so what.
You don’t want to end up in Walmart like one of those people that lurks with the big sausage fingers pointing at chicken pot pies or Gary. [laughs] So, think about these maladies you’ve got, think about your action, and think about just starting something simple.
Gee, I’ve really got to start changing something. Well, here’s what you’re going to change. You’re going to get up right now. You’re going to go to the computer. Wait, you’re already at the computer because you’re watching the blog. You’re going to start reading more about what I do and teach.
Then, you’re going to go outside and walk the dog, the kid, the owls. I don’t care. My cameraman’s very upset now, we have to go. Good bye.
